What are content credits and how are they used?
A content credit is the unit that prices each operation. SERP analysis costs 100, heading analysis 100 and AI content generation 500 credits, while scraping competitor pages is free. Producing one article end to end costs roughly 1,200 credits. Your remaining balance is shown in the dashboard with a per-operation breakdown.
How does the article quota work?
Every plan has a monthly limit on completed articles, and that limit is enforced at the database level. Only articles with COMPLETED status count; drafts, experiments and anything you delete do not consume the allowance. That way you can keep editing a piece until it is ready to publish without spending quota.
What are the team member and project limits?
Limits vary by plan: Basic includes 2 members and 5 projects, Pro 5 members and 15 projects, and Business 15 members and 50 projects; Enterprise has no member or project cap. The free trial comes with a single user and a single project. When a limit is reached, moving up a plan opens the allowance immediately.
When do quotas renew?
Quotas renew automatically at the start of your billing period, which is your payment date rather than the first day of the calendar month. If you pay on the fifth, your quotas return to your plan level on the fifth of every month. Annual plans still renew monthly; only the payment is taken upfront.
Do unused credits carry over to the next month?
No. Credits you do not spend during a period do not roll into the next month; the quota resets to your plan level. Upgrading is the one exception: the moment you move up, your remaining balance is kept and added on top of the new plan. Upgrading mid-month therefore never costs you credits.
What happens when I run out of quota?
When the quota is spent, credit-backed operations stop and a 'Credits exhausted' notice replaces the relevant button. Your existing content stays available, and you can keep editing and exporting it. To carry on generating, move up a plan or wait for your next renewal date.
How do my quotas increase when I upgrade?
When you upgrade, your remaining balance is added on top of the new plan quota rather than replacing it. The carry-over runs automatically for both content credits and the article quota, with nothing for you to do. Team seats and project slots are not carried over; they jump straight to the new plan level.
What happens when my team member or project slot is full?
A neutral 'Full' indicator appears. It is not an error — it means you have reached your plan's limit, and your existing members and projects are unaffected. To add another member or project, move up a plan; alternatively, archiving a project you no longer use frees a slot straight away.
